Lead Therapist
Jennifer Cooper Bahler, Ed.M., M.A., LPC
I have been counseling individuals, couples and families for more than 20 years. My goal is to provide a safe and accepting space where we can work together to understand the relationship issues that are troubling you; improve communication; and create more fulfilling connections.
I practice an eclectic approach, including existential, human-centered and psychodynamic therapies, for most conditions. Among my specialties are women’s issues; family/relationship issues; grief/loss; parenting/co-parenting; and therapeutic comedy. I have lived and worked abroad in Asia and Europe.
A graduate of Columbia University, I am licensed by the State Board of Marriage and Family Therapy Examiners of the State of New Jersey, Past-President of the New Jersey Counseling Association and certified by the Red Cross as a Disaster Mental Health Worker.
I am the founder of Women Supporting Women and What’s Bad for Life is Good for Comedy! Comedy Therapy.
As an industry specialist, I also co-founded CEKeepers.com to help fellow therapists protect their licenses.
