Welcome to my practice! I have been counseling individuals, couples and families for more than 20 years. My goal is to provide a safe and accepting space where we can work together to understand the issues that are troubling you; and find new direction to help you meet your goals and live a more meaningful life.

I practice an eclectic approach, including existential, human-centered and psychodynamic therapies, for most conditions. Among my specialties are women’s issues; couples & families; grief/loss; parenting; big life transitions and therapeutic comedy. I have lived and worked abroad in Asia and Europe and am bilingual (English/Spanish.)

A graduate of Columbia University, I am licensed by the State Board of Marriage and Family Therapy Examiners of the State of New Jersey, Past-President of the New Jersey Counseling Association and certified by the Red Cross as a Disaster Mental Health Worker.

In addition, I am the founder of Women Supporting Women; Stand-up for Motherhood, therabeez.com and What’s Bad for Life is Good for Comedy! Stand-up Comedy Therapy.
